If you are asked to be a witness

You may be asked for a statement because you saw or heard something relevant to a complaint. Taking part is voluntary, and it helps the Panel reach a fair decision.

What you will be asked

To describe what you saw or heard, as exactly as you can, and when. Say what you saw yourself and what you were told by others, and keep the two apart.

What you will see

Only your own statement. Witnesses do not see the rest of the complaint.

Confidentiality

Please keep the complaint and your statement confidential, and do not discuss them with either party.
